With eight of the world’s ten highest peaks, Nepal is loaded with spectacular mountains vistas. Everest Base Camp Trek in justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the world's highest mountain (8,848m) but also for its friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages great variety of cultures and traditions, colorful festivals, and monasteries. The flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park. The story of the yeti is still a mystery to the world from the Khumbu region. This trek is not an easy hike like a classical route of Everest Base Camp Trekking. This Trekking route is a combination of Gokyo Lake Trek and  Everest Base Camp Trek as well as  Gokyo  Ri climb  (5,488m) and Kalapattar  (5,550m) offers a magnificent view of Cho-Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam. Cross over the Cho La pass(5,420M) pass and hike to the Everest Base Camp. This trek offers a walk through the most dramatic landscape and magnificent views of the Mountain range in the Khumbu region. some of the trekkers prefer for anti circle routes like Everest Base Camp and Gokyo lake via the Chola pass itinerary. Itinerary

  • 01Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to your Hotel 15 -20 Minute drive. Adventure International Trekking's representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel in Kathmandu
  • 02Kathmandu sight seeing tour & Trip preparation: Today after breakfast we will start a guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. After completed city tour In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members.   • 03Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding 35 minutes flight and 3-4 hours Hike Early morning transfer you to Tribhuvan Airport for a Twin Otter flight to Lukla that takes about 35 to 40 minutes. Our trekking crew at Lukla will receive you. After final preparations, the trekking starts passing Chaurikharka village, and makes a descent towards the Dudhkosi Ghat (2,530 meters). The trail follows the precise bank of the Dudhkosi River until camp at Phakding is reached. This first day is short hike as acclimatization reasons. Lunch will be served on the way. Walking distance is approximately 4 hours to Phakding (2,650 m/8,692 ft.)
  • 04Phakding to Namche Bazzar 5-6 hours Hike Follow the Bhote Koshi through forest and pasture land, along a valley dotted with small Sherpa settlements. Cross the Bhote Koshi and climb steeply along switch-backing trail to large Sherpa village, after crossing suspension Bridge, 30 minutes later enjoy views of Everest (8,848 m) and Lhoste (8,511 m) come into sight. This prosperous town is the largest Khumbu. A traditional trading center, the Bazaar is held every Saturday. The goods on display are available. Thamserku ( 6,648 m) and Kwangde RI (6,224 m) become visible to the east and west, and the sacred mountain Khumbila (5707m) dominates the skyline to the north behind the village. 6 hours. Night stay at Namche Bazzar (3,420 m/11,217 ft.)
  • 05Namche Bazzar Acclimatize full day explore around Rest and acclimatization at Namche Bazaar. A pleasant day can be spent exploring the village, talking to the Sherpas and marveling at the incredible scenery. A hike to the Everest view hotel for Everest view. The rest day is intended for acclimatization purpose. Night stay at Namche Bazzar (3,420 m/11,217 ft.)
  • 06Namche Bazzar to Khumjung. 3-4 hours Hike Only a few hours walk away is the picturesque village of Khumjung (3,850 m), a place less visited. After having lunch visit viewpoint for a panoramic view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Thamserku, Taweche, Kongma Tse. Have lunch on top of this panoramic view. After lunch visit the Khumjung Monastery with the Yeti scalp and walk back through the village to your lodge. Sunsets over Himalaya can be unforgettable. Night stay at Khumjung {3,850 m/12,628 ft.)
  • 07Khumjung to Monla 4-5 hours Hike After breakfast, we descend to the west of the village down the broad valley leading to the Dudh Kosi River. The Gokyo route is turn north, climbing above the more frequented route which is north view from Tengboche Monastery. Here's choice of routes in the beginning: the yak trails which climbs gently or the steep staircase-like trail made of rocks embedded in a narrow cleft in a large bounder, the two trails soon join and continue towards a large Chorten on the top of the ridge night stay at in Mon la (3,973 m/13,031 ft.)
  • 08Mon-La to Dole 5/6 hours Hike After breakfast we start our journey to Dole. Begin of the day is steeply down & The trails climbs steeply out of the valley through rhododendron forests which give way to fragrant stands of juniper and large conifers as the elevation increases. This trek is especially beautiful in spring when the rhododendrons are blooming. The trails pass many kharkas, summer settlements used when sherpas bring herds of yaks to graze in these high pastures. The route passes through the settlement s of Tongba to Dole. Enjoy south east views of Khumbila and Twachee (6,545 m) are tremendous throughout the day, and it is possible to climb a ridge behind Dole for an even broader view up and down the valley. Night stay at Dole 4,039 m/13,247 ft.)
  • 09Dole to Machhermo 4-5 hours Hike From Dole the trail climbs to Lambara at 4,220 m and Luza at 4,360 m. The tails is steep in most places as it climbs through scrub junipers. There're kharkas whenever there is a flat spot and the slightest hint of water. People from Khumjung own all the Kharkas on this side of valley. The trails continue to climb along the side of the valley, high above the river, crossing sandy spurs to Machhermo at 4,420 meters. It was in Machhermo in 1974 stories that YETI had killed three yaks and attached a Sherpa woman. This is the most credit yeti incident ever reported, so be watchful as you visit this reason. Night stay at Machhermo (4,420 m/14,497 ft.)
  • 10Machhermo to Gokyo 4-5 hours Hike The trail climbs a ridge for an excellent view both down the valley to Kantega and up towards Cho Oyu (8,153m). Beyond the ridge the valley widens as the trail passes through Pangka at 4,390 m then descends to the river bank before beginning of climb on to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier.It's a steep climb up the moraine, switch backing alongside the stream to the first small lake at 4,650 m, where a family of green Braminy ducks resides. Night stay at Gokyo (4,750 m/15580 ft.)
  • 11Gokyo rest day acclimatize and explore peak Gokyo Ri After breakfast, trek around Gokyo Ri, the views in the Gokyo region are tremendous. For the best view, climb to Gokyo Ri, the small peak above the lake. This peaks of 5,318 m, it's a 2 hours climb to the top of the peak, providing a panoramic view of Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse and Twachee. Those with more time and energy can make a trip up the valley to another lake marked with the name Ngozumpa on the maps or even beyond to a fifth lake. There're several small peaks in this region that offer vantage points for the surrounding peaks. Night stay at Gokyo(4,750 m/15580 ft.)
  • 12Gokyo–-Thang Na 3- 4 hours Hike After breakfast this short treks for 3 hours hike supports the same way and crossing the Ngojumba glacier where you will reach Thang-na of few tea houses. Night stay at Thang -na 4820 m/15,809 ft.)
  • 13Thang na to Dzonglha 5-6 Hours Hike Trek continues to Chola-Pass Base camp with your pack lunch box and follows with continue walking across the moraine, the trail makes a steep ascent to the top of the snow covered Chola Pass (5,420 meters). Walking takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to reach the top. From the top, you can enjoy excellent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Mt. Everest, the trail descends steeply towards the Dzong- Lha for night stop(4,860 m/15,940 ft.)
  • 14Dzonglha to Lobuche 3-4 hours Hike From Dzong Lha, the trail levels and then makes a gradual climb up with many panorama mountains views to the small Sherpa settlement of Lobuche . This is a small village situated nearby the stream. The sunset on Nuptse is a memorable sight. Night stop at Lobuche (4,910 m/ 16,104 ft.)
  • 15Lobuche to Gorakshep: 3-4 Hours Hike & After Lunch Explore Kalapatter After breakfasts start your usual day gradual climb through view of many mountains as well as khumbu Glaciers on the way you will cross several side moraines to Gorakshep Short but high altitude walk. After your lunch, you will climb to Kalapatter for 2 hours up to see beautiful sunset view over Everest from Kalapatter (5,550 m/18,204 ft.) get down for night stop at Gorekshep( 5,210 m/17,088 ft.)
  • 16Gorakshep – Everest Base Camp - Lobuche 7-8 hours Hike Early start is essential with your pack lunch for EBC . Travel along the Khumbu glacier through jumbled moraine and shattered rock. Reach Everest Base Camp enjoy few hours and trek back down for the night at Lobuche (4,910 m/ 16,104 ft.)
  • 17Lobuche to Tengboche 6-7 hours Hike From Lobuche we retrace our route for an hour and continue descending south east to the small collection of buildings at Dugla . We continue down the broad valley to Pheriche . This sprawling village is home to the Himalayan Rescue Association and there is a small medical post here staffed by western volunteers. We cross the Dudh Kosi by a small wooden bridge and continue on a delightful path high above the river to the village of Pangboche. There are superb views of mount Ama Dablam (6,856 m) from all along the trail, offering varied perspectives on this famous peak. The path initially descends to the river below Pangboche and crosses via a rickety suspension bridge spanning a narrow chasm. We then climb up through pretty forest to the famous Gompa at Tengboche for Night Stop (3,920 m/12,857 ft.)
  • 18Tengboche to Namche Bazzar 5-6 hours Hike Our semi final day, early morning also be able to visit the Tengboche Gompa which has been newly built since the old one was destroyed by fire in 1989. Although we are leaving the Khumbu now, this is one of the best days walking on the entire trek. Here we can gaze back north at the fantastic panorama which includes Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam, whilst to the east we can see Kang Tega and Thamserku. We then begin the long descent down a seemingly endless series of switch-backs to the Dudh Kosi at Punki Tenga. We stop here for lunch in a very pleasant and sunny location. Finally we begin our last big hill which climbs up to the lodges at Sanasa. From here the path contours around the hillside in a superb high-level position until we reach Namche with back again for our comfortable lodge. Night stay at Namche Bazzar (3,420 m/11,217 ft.)
  • 19Namche Bazzar to Lukla 6-7 hours Hike After breakfast we depart Monjo and continue our descent along the Dudh Kosi, before making a final ascent to reach the Phakding village by mid afternoon for Lunch. We trek back to Lukla along the same trail, although it always looks different coming from the opposite direction on arrival in Lukla we will have time to relax and celebrate the completion of our trek. Trek concludes. Night stay at Lukla (2,850 m/9,348 ft.)
  • 20Lukla to Kathmandu 35 minutes flight We fly out of Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning about 35- 40 minute, and taking off is just as exciting as flying in. Transfer into your hotel. O/N Hotel in Kathmandu.
  • 21Departure to airport or start your next destination. You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internet to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onward to your next destination.
