Helambu Trekking is the Sherpa social village treks northeast of Kathmandu valley presents a straight forward Himalayan break. Helambu trekking is another part of alpine Langtang Gosainkunda trekking and just way cross through Langtang Gosainkunda go with Helambu trekking then trekkers reach to Helambu area which is another sherpa cultural kingdom. Starting with a short drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal the way to Helambu jumps on to the Shivapuri edge from where there are clearing viewpoints on the central Himalaya. Following an edge line, the trek makes a trip north to Thare Pati through a panoramic view of the Himalayas including the highest mountain view of Shishapangma before going east to Melamchi Gaon and Tarke Gyang the rule towns of this locale. with our any acclimatization you reach Shermathang before dropping to the Melamchi conduit to end our trek with a drive dhobi chaur and drive through Melamchi Bazaar to Kathmandu. 

The simple trek which is east north from Kathmandu trek not difficult like high altitude Annapurna circuit, Dhaulagiri base camp, Kanchenjunga base camp, or Mount-everest base camp with glacier hike, so this trekking goes through the village to village through the Sherpa, Tamang, Chhetri, brahmin culture at the begin of the trekking route so Helambu villages between statures of 1,370m to 3,660m. Comfort in a fundamental inn or homestay lodges run by own families. Itinerary

  • 01Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to your Hotel 15 -20 Minute drive Adventure International Trekking's representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel
  • 02Kathmandu Sight Seeing Tour & Trip Preparation Today after breakfast we will start a guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. After completed city tour In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members.   • 03Kathmandu to Sundarijal to Chisopani 1 hour drive and 4 -5 hour Hike After Breakfast In your Hotel you will drive to Sundarijal by car and from Sundarijal the trail ascends through a light forest to reach at Mulkharka village where you can have a view of the entire Kathmandu valley. Climbing the trail you will get to Borlang Bhanjyang (2,440 m). The route heads down the ridge through a forest of oak and rhododendron to Chisapani, where you have spectacular Mountain Views. night stay at Chisapani.(2,180 m/7,150 ft.)
  • 04Chisopani to Kutumsang 5-6 hours Hike The trail continues dropping down from chisapani to Pati Bhanjyang (1860m), people of Brahmin, Chhetri village. Then the trail forwards making a steep ascent to Chipling (2,170 m), the trail then proceeds observing the good mountain views to Thodang Betine (2,260 m) and finally crossing descend to the Tamang village of Gulfu Bhanjyang. Again ascending trails for night stop at Kutumsang(2,460 m/8068 ft.)
  • 05Kutumsang to Tharepati 5-6 hours Hike As usual today again ascending trail climbs through pine and rhododendron forest and proceeds further having the views of the peaks above Langtang range and Gosainkunda, slightly down to Mangen goth for lunch Break and again climb few hours for night stop at Tharepati (3,660 m/12,004 ft.)
  • 06Tharepati to Malemchigaon 4-5 hours hike Today early morning we go for view point to see mountains and landscape of north eastern part of Nepal and walk down to hotel for breakfast and The trail switchbacks steeply down, then descends through a forest of huge gnarled rhododendrons, the trail makes a steep further descent to Chhyadi Khola. Crossing Chhyadi Khola bridge, making a short climb you will reach to the large Sherpa village where you stay for night at Malemchigaon(2,580 m/8462 ft.)
  • 07Malemchigaon to Tarkegyang 4-5 hours hike Morning roaming round sherpa village of Malemchaigaon and the trail slightly descending and ascending . The trail climbs, passes the school, where you can visit if you like and further climbs steeply upwards, bringing you to the first meadow of Tarkegyang for lunch and visit famous gumpa, look around village and night stop at Tarkegyang (2,640 m/8,660 ft.)
  • 08Tarkegyang to Dubha Chaur -Malemchipul Bazar to Kathmandu 5-6 hours hike and 3 hours drive The trail leaves Tarke Gyang and heads to meet the pretty Sherpa village, Gangyul (2520m). The trail drops a little bit and then climbs through deep forests, crossing a number of streams, to finally bring you to Chumik. making a gentle climb at the big village of Shermathang for lunch break and Making a drop, the trail reaches in the settlements of Nigale and Gyalsha and further to Raithani Gyang (2290m). Descending through the chir pine forest the trek gets to the large fascinating village of Dubha Chaur where finally drive to Kathmandu for night stay
  • 09Departure to airport or start your next destination. You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internet to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onward to your next destination.
