Langtang and Gosainkunda trek investigate the upper compasses of the shining Langtang Village and panorama see from Tserko Ri peak and get round to Gosiankunda holy lake with laurebinayak pass and get down to Helambu sherpa communities with Tamang towns in the great Helambu social trekking. The closest trekking structure Kathmandu valley is the Langtang region with is a very- less crowded trekking area in Nepal.  Langtang valley is only extremely close to Tibet outskirts also. This trekking is lead by sybrubensi where Tamang Heritage Trail starts from. Itinerary

  • 01Arrival: 15 -20 Minute drive (Airport to Hotel) Adventure International Trekking's representative will greet you at Tribhuvan Int'l Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being serve with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel in Kathmandu
  • 02Kathmandu sight seeing & Trekking preparation Today after breakfast we will start a guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous Monkey Temple (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. After completed city tour In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members.   • 03Kathmandu- Syabru Besi drive by Bus 7-8 hours Make an early start to the bus journey around 8 hours to Syabru Besi where the starting point of the trek. From here, the adventure begins! Passing through many small villages on the way will be fascinating you with snippets of every day living in these lowland villages at Sybrubensi (1,450 m/4,756 ft.)
  • 04syabrubensi to Lama Hotel 6- 7 hours hike Crossing through the suspension bridge and heading precipitously along a stream. The River we are following is mostly the Langtang River. You can enjoy the walk going through mix forest (Bamboos, rhododendron and Alpine forest area). You can start walking at your own pace in the trail which will go uphill through the forests. Your stop for the day will be the Lama Hotel for night (2,600 m/8528 ft.)
  • 05Lama Hotel-Langtang 6-7 Hours Hike Ascending trekking again today while start your journey through rhododendron and pine forests for three hours and then reach Ghoda Tabela. At Ghoda Tabela, you will have your lunch. On this day, you will be very close to nature and wild animals. After lunch, get Lunch with massive view of Langtang Village and Langtang Ri, langtang Lirung and trek leads to Langtang Village for night stop (3,430m/11,250 ft.)
  • 06Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa 3-4 hours Hike and explore Kyjin ri peak Today again you will ascend few hours to Kang Jing Gompa, before start trek watch around valley destroyed part of langtang valley while earth quake 2015 and you will leave for the destination and reach there after a walk of three to four hours. You can see the stunning views of Mount Ganchempo and Mount Langtang Lirung from here. You can also visit the Yak Cheese Factory, Kang Jin Monastery night stop at Kyjingumpa (3,850 m/12,628 ft.)
  • 07Kyanjin Gompa- Explore day 5-6 hours for round trip Hike Visit after the breakfast at Tserko RI (5,033m) for fantastic view of the langtang range. Back to guest house for Lunch having short rest and walk around the Kyanjing valley with guide night stop at Kyanjin Gumpa (3,850 m/12,628 ft.)
  • 08Kyanjin –Lama Hotel 5-6 hours Hike Today, you will start your trek back to Lama Hotel via Langtang Valley and trek will take you all the way down to ghore tabela for lunch break where enjoy the landscapes, forests, and wildlife along the way and finally crossing forest and reach Lama hotel(2,600 m/8,528 ft.)
  • 09Lama Hotel to Syabru Village 5-6 hours Hike First decent down to river cross via landslide field and ascend to Syabru village for overnight. You will see the nice view of Langtang himal. You will pass through pine and Junieerps forest (2,250m/7,382 ft.)
  • 10Syabru Village to Shin Gompa 3-4 hours Hike From shybru village we take the broad trail climbing up to Dimsa village and through a rhododendron forest to Shin Gompa A nice view of langtang range. This place known as Chandan Bari it call sandle wood field (3,340 m/10,958 ft).
  • 11Shin Gompa to Gosainkund lake 4-5 hours Hike We go up smoothly through rhododendron covered point to the top of the rim and through a forested area. We return to the ridge path and climb a wider route to arrive at a ‘Kharka’. (Alpine meadow used for summer grazing). We continue along the wide path which soon turns rocky. We weave our way along the right flank as we approach the Trisuli River. Now the mountain slope eases and the first lake appears. At the second lake we climb a little and the third lake makes out us at Gosainkund bank of Lake. We have the balance of the day to relax in the vicinity of the lake. (4,381 m/14,374 ft.)
  • 12Gosainkunda to Gopte 7-8 hours Hike We get higher through a shaky but gentle slope to Suryakund pass (4,630 m) after which we descend into a wide valley leading to a Kharka. We enter the sheer mountainside that carries out a Yo-Yo routine. After we pass several streams the path alleviates. But very soon we climb a steep flank and cross a branch ridge to arrive at Gopte (3,450 m/11,319 ft.)
  • 13Gopte to Melamchi Gaon 5-6 hours Hike We slide down through a forested area and climb through a dry river-bed to arrive at a Kharka that is surrounded by rhododendron forest. We climb through the forest to arrive at the village of Thare Pati. Climbing the ridge directly above the village gives us a marvelous view of the Jugal area. We take the lane that climbs to the ridge and arrives at a village. From here we enter a forested area, again descending to Melamchi River followed by yet again climbing to the Melamchi Gaon for night (2,580 m/8,462 ft.)
  • 14Melamchi Gaon to Sarmathang 6-7 hours Hike We follow the crest route and descend through cultivated fields. We pass through Tarkeghyang, We continue down the path ascending through a wooded and farming area to arrive Sarmathang (2,641 m/8,665 ft.)
  • 15Sarmathang to Melamche Bazaar to Kathmandu 3-4 hours hike and 3 hours drive The trail leaves the big village of Shermathang and making a drop, the trail reaches in the settlements of Nigale and Gyalsha and further to Raithani Gyang (2290m). Descending through the chir pine forest the trek gets to the large fascinating village of Dubha Chaur where finally drive to Kathmandu for night stay
  • 16Departure to airport or start your next destination. You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internet to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onward to your next destination
